Single-note tremolo

Select the single-note Tremolo symbol, then draw across the stem of the note(s) onto you which you wish to place the tremolo—almost like you’re painting them in. Drag the pen up or down to change the number of strokes; StaffPad supports up to 3 per stem.

Two-note tremolo

Select the two-note Tremolo symbol, then tap in between two notes of equal duration to place a two-note tremolo. Like with single-note tremolos, drag the pen up or down to change the number of strokes; StaffPad supports up to 3 per tremolo.

Because a two-note tremolo is equal in duration to the note value of only one of its constituent notes (a tremolo between two half notes equals two beats, not four), you may find that you have to temporarily overfill a bar before placing a two note tremolo.

Two-note tremolos cannot be placed on notes that already have single-note tremolos, and vice versa.
