While it’s presumed that you know how to write music already, it’s worth understanding a bit how StaffPad interprets your manuscript:
Before you dive in and try and write a complex symphony with StaffPad, it's highly recommended that you watch all of the video tutorials, found under the "Getting Started" section of the Discover page. Palm rejection is built into all the devices that support StaffPad, so feel free to rest your palm naturally on the screen as you’re writing; no need to awkwardly keep your hand suspended in mid-air above the screen!
