  In App Purchase Libraries

If the staff is a part of an in-app purchase collection, you'll see the logo for the library displayed at the top. This is to remind you of the original source of the staff, even after it's been renamed!

Full name: The name of the instrument as it appears in your working score and on the first system of a printed score.

Short name: The name of the instrument as it appears on the second and subsequent systems of a printed score, and in the ghost clef (the representation of the instrument that appears at the left of the system as you scroll through the score.

Volume; Panning; Reverb: Move the sliders to adjust the instrument’s playback settings.

Exclude from parts: Check this box if you don’t want the instrument to appear in a printed score or be visible on StaffPad Reader. Useful for playback-only staves or a sketch staff, for instance.

Show Chords: This will display automatic chords on the top of the staff.

Exclude from Chords: If the part is very chromatic, or non-musical, or may somehow interfere with the global harmonic analysis offered by the Chord Staff, then you can exclude the staff from analysis by toggling this switch.

Mute: Tap this to mute the staff entirely; the staff and any music on it will turn grey (but you can still work with it).

Solo: This will mute all of the other staffs in the score, focusing playback on just the solo'd staff.
